We are so very grateful and indebted to so many wonderful people:
Jackie Brady is a Chicago-based homeschooling mother. She quickly developed a love for art as a child, and has been creating art ever since! She graduated with an art degree in 2004. In her free time, she is busy raising chickens, training puppies, and harvesting the produce from their large garden.
Please see options to purchase prints of her sketches and oil painting: “Restored.”
Samantha Goh is a Toronto-based Catholic creative. She is a designer and hand letterer with one too many hobbies (this includes photography, cooking, embroidery, reading, and more!). She is a part-time foodie that enjoys spending her free time planning for future adventures around the world. As a graphic designer, she is passionate about communicating with clarity and functionality. She desires to work with parishes, ministries, and faith-based organizations to serve His Church.
The Logo is a shield specifically in blue representing Our Lady and our desire for ourselves, our families, and our friends and acquaintances to stay under her mantle of care and protection. The broken jar and flowers coming forth represent our brokenness and Christ’s ability to use that and to radiate in and through that to bring His Restoration and Life to the world. The red jar is also a symbol of the Sacred Heart pierced out of Total Love for each and everyone of us. From the pierced Sacred Heart comes the golden flowers which also symbolize the Eternal Life won for us - eternal life where we hope to enjoy life fully restored to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
We are a dedicated group with the common desire to serve and learn from individuals with special needs, especially the most profound, as well as their families or caregivers.
We have personally experienced and been witnesses of how these individuals are such treasures. As they have been powerful conduits of God’s Mercy to us, so too can they be for others and help usher in a much needed restoration of the Sacred Image of God and Culture of Life in our lives, Church, and World.
Let it be known! The Culture of Life Foundation and volunteers are simply broken people in great need of Christ’s Sacraments and Restoration. Yet through our different journeys, we have found that it is those hardest and most broken places that Christ most powerfully manifests His Presence and radiates into and through the brokenness. This continues to bring us much Hope, Peace, and Joy!
For those that journey or have journeyed these places, we are there with you - no better than you, simply taking one step at a time truly by God’s Grace.
A few stories of our journeys with brokenness.
